Funny how the same site pretty much says the opposite on another page.

"2 GB RAM: 1 GB is allocated for games and is shared between the CPU and the GPU, while 1 GB is allocated to the operating system."
It looks like the OS page was written by someone who was speculating, and from a pre-launch period.
"The Wii U Operating System is expected to launch as “Version 1.0″ when the console launches in Fall of 2012."
