I know, but just because there is the option doesn't mean you have to use it all.
Just pointing out how so many gamers say that blu ray size is NEEDED. And how some games could not be done without that size.
Just look at the best looking PC games out htere. They can all fit on DVD's still. And those games look better than any console game.

That's because the cutscenes are compressed to hell and back. Quality is absolutely shitty. To get cutscenes in an acceptable quality you actually have to rip them off PS3 games (dat 25GB BluRay).
Take Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition for example
Cutscenes are what take most of the place on a disk, the actual game usually is FAR smaller.

You can get 4 hours of video in perfect 1080p for 5 GB if you encode correctly. No need for 50 gigs.
1080p Textures take a lot of place.
