I personally love getting a new starter and a gen 1 starter and seeing them in new light. Overall in content I think this the best entry since Ruby/Sapphire in a step up. I do get how any series can see people grow tired and leave it though. Personally find the formula fine with the tweaks along the way and would find a "Mature" Pokemon game to be cringe inducing and far more juvenile than what they have done. |
the only games in the series that were a bit "meh" IMO were Diamond and Pearl. waaaay too slow. the other games range from fine to awesome.
