The pokemon sales make no sense. Looks like its USA sales were adjusted up?

Nintendo announced 4m sales, and they included a day more than VGChartz do here PLUS digital sales. Are you telling me it dropped like a rock in its second/third day AND that it sold nothing digitally?

There's probably some heavily overtracked data here, the worldwide numbers don't make sense. Japan seems to be not too off from the Media Create Sales (1.866 vs 1.940 million), and Europe seems to be right where it should be considering past launches. The issue is that the US is heavily overtracked, probably off by several hundred thousand for its first day.

The media create doesn't include digital sales which Famitsu included the digital download cards so 1.94mil is spot on (Famitsu had it at 2mil). I do agree US is overtracked by between 100k-200k.

VGC traditionally do not track download cards. So sales should be closer to MC sales than Famitsu.

even so its fine cuz its still undertracked, no big deal right? The other post, i understand but wat i was saying to was nintendo never said exact numbers, didn't they do this with LM2 as well? They said it sold over 1mil (a statement) wen sales were way pass 1.5mil. i think it was first month or something. Pokemon could of been 4.5mil of all we kno! I still believe though US is overtracked by 100k-200k but nothing more.

kind of ironic but 3ds is undertracked lmao. 3ds should be way over 100k in US. i was right wen they put it at 73k then changed it to 94k!

I agree that the Pokemon numbers make no sense, just like the hardware sales don't. Won't be surprised if NPD numbers show the discripancy again.

Pokemon should be less though. I agree over 4m is a bit vague but it did include more days and digital sales so US definitely overtracked here.
