W101 had to cost a lot. You only need to look at the game to see that. All that animation, all those beautiful new assets, all the voice-work.

I'm sure KZ:M cost a lot, as well, though if I'm not mistaken, it borrowed a ton from KZ3.

Puppeteer is 2D and relatively short. I'm betting it didn't cost a ton. They also probably spent like $5 on advertising.

I have no idea what kind of digital sales W101 might have done but I bet KZ:M and Puppeteer did relatively well in that regard. I really, really hope that all three games get a second push over the holidays. They all deserve it, in my opinion. It's discouraging to see all the sales go to just a few titles while some very deserving games get left out.

Actually I thought Puppeteer was very long for a 2D platformer. And all 20 or so levels are pretty unique so there are a lot of assets in the game. It still probably didn't have a huge budget but it was also sold at a lower price.

I'm glad they'll bundle it with the PS3 in Japan. Maybe Nintendo should do the same with W101.
