Um that logic doesn't compute. Your argument in the op and most of the thread is that the difference is too small to matter. Bolded it for you:
"For PC hardware, I can understand specifically because PC game graphics are adjustable depending on your hardware capabilities. But console games don't have that feature. Therefore, developers will be making games that are optimized for a specified set of hardware parameters.
Thus, in the case of the PS4 and the Xbone, where the differences are so small (if any), what's the point of arguing which one is better? The difference isn't like Geforce 1st gen and 4th gen. It's the same hardware generation, with relatively the same specs, so developers will be optimizing their games in relatively the same fashion. Will you really care and notice if a version of a game runs at 60fps, while the other one runs at 59fps? It's ludicrous.
I don't understand why people are arguing about this all the time. Instead, people should argue about the games, on which console will get the better exclusives or the better first party support or the better online features."
Then in your first reply to me:
"The point is, the consoles aren't even out yet and you don't know that. For all you know, there could be no difference at all. And either way, developers are focusing on both consoles so it's pointless to speculate."
Then you posted:
"Some devs like the PS4 more, some devs like the Xbone more. And your point is?
Of course Sony will claim to be better. That's marketing 101."
May you please underline in these posts of yours which parts are meaning "even if [the difference] it is big, it doesn't matter?"
