Software is becoming a service and game are just a part of it. I was reading other day a report of an analyst predicting that PS5 would not be a console but a cloud service. You pay a fee and play your games, probably with just a simple hardware to receive the game data and transmit your input. I prefer my games on my hardware (I'm not a big fan of digital sales), but that probably will be the way to go.
