How is he being greedy? He refused their offer and is doing exactly what he's supposed to do in this situation. He's actually being quite lenient by not going to the courts first, so he obviously doesn't want the game recalled.

What studio are you referring to? He has his own record label and Rockstar wouldn't have went to him if there was an actual label they could purchase the song from. You think Rockstar contacted every single artist featured in the game to get permission to use their music? No, they went to whoever owned the rights, which in this case, happened to be Daz. I don't see how anyone with at least basic intelligence could see this as Rockstar being in the right on this unless they're just completely biased to the point of belligerence.

I think you're fighting a losing battle, people will just be irrational.

It happens quite frequently here. If it was EA, SE, or Activision Blizzard, or not a rap artist (which I don't think is the most popular genre on this site). I think people more people would be more up in arms.
