They wanted his music because he is a Cali based artist.
He was also hot back in the day for the other users in here who dont know. He wasn't nearly as big as somebody like Snoop Dogg but he was more relevant back in the day than he is now |
What I am saying is R* has been in the business for a long time and they have gone down the license route before. They know the ramifications of including any music without a license. This is no high school BS some people are suggesting as if R* believe they are so big that they can include anyone songs without the license to do so. If anything, it paints them a big target for ligation especially in the States. Lawyers know eactly what can happen if music is used without the proper permissions and I highly doubt no matter how hot the artish, R* would risk their property over such a simple thing.
R* offered the guy some money and he tured it down. I am pretty sure that would be it unless this guys song can be licensed in other means
