It's also a difference in complexity of game engine and what imagery has to be thrown around.

Also, a 2.5D game has a fixed camera, they can really optimise what looks good and what doesn't, whereas a full 3D movement game has to allow for you looking at objects from different angles/distances.

I understand that the Vita version will be the more technically impressive version of the game, the developer said they have done the assets for Vita separate of the 3DS version so it should be using higher resolution/quality textures and higher polygon environments and models. However Batman still looks great on 3DS. Vita version for me though.

They were both fully develop.

And they were both develop completely seperately.

But the developer also said that they both have practically the exact same graphics as one another.

The developer said that they were using higher quality assets on the Vita version and all the impressions I've read from people trying the game on both systems state that the Vita version looks better.

The higher resolution alone for me makes the Vita version the one to go for.

But the practically the same looking is practically the same. The Vita does run Unreal 3 to a certain extent.

Anyways the 3DS version looks way more clearer looking, and way more anti-aliasing looking...with the 3D ON.
