not really, some people believed it would do it fast but not as fast. I had prediction thread for FW sales and Everybody had predictions od 1mil-1.2mil some had 1.3mil-1.5mil! only like 2 or 3 people predicted 1.7mil-1.9mil and it end up outselling MHP3 FW by a couple Thousand.

Nobody predicted it sell this much already, i have another prediction thread i made up i'll post it here soon. This is definitely amazing cuz nobody expected 2.8mil within a month. Holiday yes but not before pokemon released

Maybe people was not expecting it to do that in 4 weeks, but I think everybody knew it would surpass easily 2.8 mil by the end of the year. If would be difficult to understand if a brand new MH did half of the last "new" MH.
