I think everyone here knew the 2.8m in 7 months number was the easiest target in the history of easy targets. I don't know what Capcom was thinking, maybe it was a spelling mistake and it was supposed to be 8.2

Congrats to the game anyway, the franchise seems to be a good fit for 3DS and Nintendo in general. I think it has a shot at becoming the #1 Monster Hunter by sales, but it's not certain yet.
