It could be worse. He could be Emil Castagnier. Worst Tales character ever.

Side note: I didn't hate Alvin, but I certainly see why you or anyone else would. He's literally the worst person in the two worlds. I mean the Antagonist is actually a better person that he is.

I agree with you completely. He was the tool for the forced friendship motif in Xillia. That said, I don't hate him, I just think he is bad character. Definitely my least favorite person in the cast.
