Without kinect it would be cheaper.  You can flip it but it does not tell the whole story and everything you're getting. I thought i worded that different, Guess not.

"Could", "would", no offense but that argument is pointless. We have no idea what MS would charge without Kinect bundled.

If a standalone Kinect 2.0 would cost $150 they wouldn't add $150 to the console price in a bundle.

 

It is much more likely that MS would have charged $400 for a Kinect-Less XBone, but they don't offer a Kinect-less SKU, so the XBone vs. PS4 price comparison is $400 vs $500.
