After being turned down, guess who got ahold of it and spent like 500 million on advertisement for it.. Yep.. Good ol MS Move itself was quality but it didn't really get as much support as Kinect. Actually, it was only the PrimeSince 3D camera that was brought to Sony, Apple, and rather sure, Nintendo by the people that made it. Project Natal included the 3D rendering software, the voice recognition and the in game sound elimination – so it can hear you even when playing a game or watching a video and a bunch of other things. It fit with project their research team had been developing.
Now they have swapped that system for a much better time of flight 3D camera. Sure their advertising helped, but they only expected to sell 3 million the first year - not 5 million. Good word of mouth and good ol' plain fun just helped them sell it after that.
