I think that whatever the record is for number of consoles sold in 1 week (excluding launch weeks) will be shattered by the 3ds that week. The combined force of Pokemon and a cheaper more kid friendly and wallet friendly 2ds (combined with the usual well selling nature of the regular and XL) will set records.
