Not a big deal relax. Nintendo always brings outside or inside help to assist on any game. Monolith Soft assisted them for Skyward Sword Graphics. Retro assisted on Mario Kart 7. Not really co developed but assisting. Nintendo has done the same thing with 3rd parties as well. Nothing new for them. Nintendo outsources pretty much all the time and has inside teams assist on games. They are just much more subtle about it.
