I don't really see how 30k was expected.  Plenty of HD releases from much smaller franchises have done more.  Okami, DMC, Team ICO, Zone of the Enders, etc.  While games like Kingdom Hearts (and most likely FFX/X-2) have done far more.  Most of these games didn't have nearly the exposure or importance that Wind Waker HD has had.  OoT on 3DS did five times more than Wind Waker.

well im sure if WiiU had half of those install bases it would sell 100k, but why would people expect it to be high? I only thought US would hve 100k+. My 35-40k estimate was close. Nobody except a few thought this would help wiiu out overall.
