Surprisingly, I haven't seen many people upset over this delay and it was for the better. Wii U needs to put some more of its main genre for next year too.
Right now its DKC and possibly Yoshi's Yarn, 3DS has Yoshi's Island and Kirby.
Maybe Kirby for Wii U too?
