I think it's seriously sucks that the over world (atleast as far as we know) is a 3D map. What I liked about the 3D mario games is that the over worlds were always original. Peach's castle in 64, Tropical Island in Sunshine and the Ships in the Galaxy series. Leave the unoriginal lvl maps overworld ala Super Mario World for the 2D games.
