Yeah, PSP is region-free. I would definitely say Import-it
Well, here's a little bit more on the combat system.
On the bottom right corner, you have your melee attacks (the one Zak is using right now), if you scroll through using Shoulder Button, you can put different magic spell there. For me, I have Melee, Heavy Attack (this one where you jumps up and strikes down), Triple Flame attacks (you generate 3 balls of flames), Lighting attacks, Ice-attack, Healing and then potion.
Each magic can be leveled up and you can combine them to form more powerful one. I believe my Flame one also give me 500% health boost. It's FRICKING AWESOME.
On the top left:
You have a roll of 1-7, if you get 777, you level up, Some of them give you Summon, some give you healthy, AP, MP boost, I believe if you get 222, it level up your second socket of magic. and so on.
So this way, it encourage you to battle
