Some of those mags I actually didn't read for the news and gaming information. I just liked the writers with their witty style and respected their opinions. I was like "I wonder what Shawn Smith and Dan Hsu think of Perfect Dark!?", "Oh, they like it too!". The info eventually became outdated but it was an enjoyable experience.
