In the real world, the two people who sit opposite me at work have thier iPhone 5's plugged in and charging by about lunch time every day due to low battery.

I leave work at 4pm and I still usually have between 50-60% and I am a heavy user.

What they're doing is controlling for variables such as usage and screen brightness. It's the difference between science and anecdotes.

Well sorry for going off real life usage and what I witness as opposed to some "test" allegedly carried out somewhere in the world.

Actually, yeah I still prefer to believe what I witness compared to what you say.
