That means in 15 years, when the X1 platform has been sunsetted, they can simply leave the cloud usage available to the people still playing it, but shift the bulk of the processing power to newer tasks. The cloud makes it FAR more economical/viable to keep things like that on forever. |
But the problem remains because you're relying on MS to play your games. If you buy a disc and take care of it, you are in total control over that game.
