It's just more fun watching a badass monster than a wimpy one.

I was personally never a fan of the indestructable beast mithology :P

I was the opposite, I thought it was awesome,  haha. It made him seem cooler than other monsters who were easily killed, and made the films more interesting cos he wasn't an easily solvable problem.
