They could do some cool co-op things with the controller IMO, like maybe a Mach Rider type game where one player drives the bike and the other using the tablet uses it to swing around and shoot down enemies or something.
The Wii Zapper U idea was really neat too, they should make a spy/espionage game out of it (think more Mission: Impossible than MGS or Splinter Cell).
In a way I think making the old franchises is kinda holding them back from doing something really new and fresh with the controller.
