in which order are the Metroid games played?

For me its the opposite :)  I found the story/insight quite interesting but the gameplay was shallow and repetitive and the forced use of the first person perspective was just dumb (because you could not move just look ZZZZzzzzzzz)    and the controls are horrible too.

Really? Damn then it really sucks. Guess there is no reason to play it then xD.

Yeah I was really looking forward to it because I loved the Prime series and just because of the Prime series I tried Super Metroid and also Fusion and  loved both.

But other M is really strange  I always thought "man when is this game going to start".  It was interesting to see how Samus is as a human compared to the bounty hunter etc but the gameplay never worked for me it also lacked atmosphere.

And forcing people to play a 3D game like this with the sideways Wiimote  without nunchuck support!  and forcing us to occasionally look around in first person mode to look for hidden stuff without being able to move/avoid enemy fire  also prevented the game from having classic controller support.

It was some really odd game.
