Exactly. Kids are dissensitized to violence today, which is why movies and game companies are always upping bar of gore. I remember when horror used to actually scare people. It was designed to get under your skin psychologically.

One thing I find amusing is that kids say they want to be more like adults by hyping games like GTA5 and Ghosts when there are TONS of adults excited for Sonic Lost World, Wind Waker HD, Knack, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and so on. I always found that pretty amusing.

I've heard chicks hype up those games, not generally male consumers but anything can happen. I've seen businessmen and people you wouldn't normally expect to game come into Gamestop to pick up COD.
