Why is is bad news? No importing so no more hacked pokemon ruining the online, soiling the hard work of breedeing or taking away the reward of capturing a shiny.
...and being able to capture every single pokemon is a great thing. They probably wouldn't mention the banning importing thing, just let that fact hit people in the face on release.

you dont kno the news? Hack pokemon cant transfer due to pokemon bank security system (same thing like pokemon tournys). They solved both the hacking+importing problems
