I'll tell you why I didn't buy the game for Wii U. It's missing local co-op and the loading times are a huge turn off. Plus I usually wait until games like Splinter Cell are sub-$30 to buy anyway.

I don't want to get into the whole third-parties vs. Nintendo debate, but I think Splinter Cell, which was missing features for Wii U, poorly advertised and reviewed (two reviews on Metacritic as I write), and suffering from some technical issues, isn't the best example.

What about games like Sonic & Sega Transformed and Rayman Legends? If studios make multiplatform games on Wii U that perform well, take advantage of the GamePad, and speak to the Wii U audience, then they'll do well in comparison to the PS3, X360, PS4, XOne versions.
