Yes I would.
Nintendo should make a Nintendo 3DS TV and allow it to use the Wii U touch pad for touch screen support. I would buy a Wii U and a 3DS TV. Not having a 3DS/DS card slot for retail games would turn that yes into a no.
I don't see why people are so against it and think it'll flop. It's one of the more common requests for portable consoles. People like to get a version of them you can play on tv.
