"tremendously more powerful"

Have to call a spade a spade.  Wii U is only about as powerful techwise versus One and Four as Wii was to 3 and 360.  And it's getting the same amount of love from third parties as Wii did.

That is not true. The difference this time will be much closer than the difference between the Wii and PS360. The Wii wasn't even HD, and couldn't run most of the engines used in the 7th gen, while the Wii U can run most of the engines that will be used in the 8th gen.

It can run most engines, but isn't even a candidate for Elder Scrolls online. The scale of games are changing and launching a current gen level console in the next gen is truly hurting Nintendos talks with third party. Bethesda said on Bonus Round that the only two platforms that can handle the game outside of PC are the PS4 and Xbone. Wii U is basically slightly above current gen tech (no more, no less), but is Nintendos next gen. This is the way of the world. Nintendo is late to the party. As he said before, call a spade a spade.
