Could DMC4 be done on the Wii?

FF7 on NES might have the same story but it wouldn't be the same game.

Little of that little of it just being true in my opinion. The NES sprite conversions i've seen of FF7 characters actually were more athstetically pleasing then what I saw in FF7 as was the FF7 to NES video... FF7 is the ugliest videogame i've ever seen. (cutscenes aside of course.)

Well outside of some virtual boy games. This is from someone who has an Atari hooked up complete with some 2600 games.

Well it was Square's first effort at such a game, and I admit the blocky polygons were an odd aesthetic choice. the characters in battle looked nice, though.

Eh, I think they would of been better served keeping it 2-D for one more game and starting with the 3-D in FF8.  Of course that was likely impossible with how much Sony was putting towards the game and their push that every game be 3-D.
