Is this a post implying that Sony wouldnt take a risk on a new IP worth investing in, in a Heavy Rain/ Quantic Dream thread?
Its even funnier, when you consider the fact that the CEO of Remedy once said the reason it was a 360 (At one point a 360/PC multiplat) exclusive, was because they could keep focus on one platform rather than focus on multiple platforms. It was a technical and business decision to stay 360 exclusive. It had nothing at all to do with Sony "taking a risk".
As for the "news" at hand... This really isnt surprising. Children is a touchy subject when it comes to media, especially one with a reputation like the videogame industry. Cant really blame them for backing out of it, but boy did they drop a bollock. Heavy Rain went on to be a great success and Quantic Dream are now pretty much a Sony 2nd party developer.
