According to Ubisoft last february or so, the game was profitable, and it sold a few hundred thousand after that plus the Vita version.  This opening is about 20% higher, so I'd think it would match their expectations.


Yeah, over 2 million units across platforms (plus digital sales on PSN, XBL, Steam...) is far from "bombed":

I'm pretty sure, Ubisoft was happy with the results. And Rayman Legends will get even better sales.
