Nintendo: Pretty pictures aren't enough

While his delivery was poor, the sentiment that great graphics aren't enough is one I can definitely get behind. I've never been able to enjoy a game purely for its visuals. In fact, I've hated tons of graphically impressive games.

Consumers seem to agree; the Atari 2600, NES, Gameboy, PS2, DS, and Wii, all won their respective console wars despite being graphically weaker than their competition.
