Considering the 3ds launched just over 2 years ago and according to nintendo financial statements they've made a loss over the last 2 financial years. So so far this generation (the 3ds generation) theyve still in loss mode
I doubt they will make the most profit this generation I think the order will be
1. Microsoft
2. Nintendo / Sony cant seperate as the ps4 hasnt yet launched yes the hype is large now but in 6 months who knows
