Their equity has shrunk a ton as a percentage of what it used to be, but they only had one year of loss, and a fairly small one at that. They're pretty much guaranteed a decent profit this year, and obviously for the rest of the gen.
That being said, with the tablet CPU and lack of Blu-ray/Cell equivalents Sony is pushing this time around, I feel like this is the gen they're finally cashing in. One as well since according to Pachter, they're selling at Profit day one after just one software and Live subscription purchase.
