Microsoft will profit massively as always. Nintendo will do well and survive even with some dark 5 years. Sony and their super amazing console? Good luck with the financials.
Edit: Also, GC was very profitable despite its low sales.

No it wasn't. The GC lost a ton of money but due to the great success of the GBA, Nintendo overall still made A LOT of money.
|
Yes it was. the Gamecube hardware had some mad attach rates (among the highest of all time, I think, every system had like 18 games attached with it), so Nintendo was pulling incredible numbers even back then. With the exception of the small period of time when Nintendo cut the price to $99, Nintendo sold the Gamecube with profit on every unit.
Here.. looks like nintendo was more profitable in the 6th gen than sony or microsoft in the seventh gen.

Yes, the GBA made them lots of money. I said that.
They did not profit off the gamecube though. It's attach ratio was 9.6. Worse than PS2, xbox, and xbox 360.

I guess asking you to prove that theory is out of the question because if you could you would. But claiming the GameCube wasn't profitable requires proof. We all know it was profitable.
|
It's just a very common myth that gamecube was profitable but this is simply not true. I'm on mobile right now but later I can get you your proof.
Also since you're being kinda pissy about this: I guess asking you to prove
the gamecube itself was profitable, not Nintendo as a whole, is out of the question because if you could you would.

yeah sorry bout that. i have no tact when im tested. I gave all the proof i could. It's not much though I'll say it's reasonable. Attach rate, hardware profit, and (gc/gba) making almost a bil a year.. all indicates that the gc hardware did alright. That's the best I got. But i did bring it.
