I have never heard of a single friend or anyone around me whose Wii collects dust. Everyone I talk to that has one is so excited about the games coming out for it.
If there is a theme around the Wii that doesn't involve waiting for SSBB/MKWii or about how amazing Galaxy was....it is the sure fit that the Wii has at parties with lots of drunk people.
