That's the thing publishers had already passed on the game. That's how we got to his point. Bayonetta 2 was cancelled for PS3/360 some time ago. I don't understand how the possibility that the same publishers that said no before may possibly change their minds at some point in the future is a better option for fans.

SEGA who own it cancelled the project, we do not know who else was approached only that Nintendo green lit it.

We know it wouldn't exist without Nintendo, Platinum confirmed as such.
