That's the point though. A "similar resurgence" would only double the baseline sales. It would bring the Wii U to 60-70k a week instead. That is under the 3ds baseline sales before it recieved a price drop that everyone was saying was terrible sales. The Wii U needs to do something that's never been done before (that a particular person in this thread has claimed the 3DS has done). The price drop and games needs to quadruple or quintuple the baseline sales for the Wii to have decent sales. Even at those numbers it would still be beat out by a 7 year old console some weeks.
