I think it's safe to say that 3rd party games on WiiU won't get patched as often as on the other consoles partly because of the HDD space being so low for most.

1) Because it's funny.

2) Are you telling me that patches are the norm, rather than the exception? And people seriously question why I spit on third parties?

They are most definitely the norm for video games. I expect a patch on every game I own, because there's a patches on the vast majority of new games.
