Cherry-picking? Lol, you're the person who picked these titles. I simply read the source and found little to no support for your position and support for mine.

The results are slim to none. Even on your hand selected titles, you can barely find anything to support your own position. This goes to show you how weak of a case you make.

These are good:

  • "If we would publish that on the other consoles, then I believe that there would be some small downscaling of what it is right now."
  • "Because of the Wii U's additional horsepower we ported the PC high res textures in this version."

This is not:

  • "the system has more memory, so we're able to use the PC textures and assets"

I already said memory has no impact upon CPU performance, so why do you continually bring it up? This was the exact case I made for why they are making these PR statements. Confused about what you're providing evidence for or just attempting to find anything at all to support a weak position?

Resolution: Well, no it does not run at a higher framerate, it actually makes this explicitly clear in the article itself. It explains that it is locked on Wii U as opposed to dynamic on PS360, with all versions running at 720p.

Textures - memory again. Not CPU.

Normal Mapping - well, this was actually about the PC version. Read more carefully.

FXAA - they said it used a more refined algorithm...I would expect that from an updated game...

Liquid shaders - I did a 'find' on the page and there is no mention of this anywhere. Did you pull it out of your butt?

Physics - Another example of you pulling things out of your butt. That's twice now I've busted you for outright lying to me. The only mention of physics in the entire article is the following:

"Overall, the solid frame-rate on all three consoles is very impressive given the extensive use of dynamic light and shadow used to bring the world to life, not to mention the inclusion of realistic physics and a range of environmental effects, from detailed water and shiny reflections, to various smoke and particles effects in play."

It's clear that you can't be objective by your incessant inclusion of bullshit in your posts. Enjoy this delusion you've manifested. I prefer to live in reality, where a couple subtleties do not provide sufficient evidence for superiority.

Exactly how many  times are you going to show you're wrong?

First it's "oh it' just PR". Then you backpedal on that and then it's "b-b-but RAM isn't important to console power". Then it's "oh, I'll find the one sentence in a article that proclaims the game superior and try to twist it into saying they're on par." Now you've flipped from the GPU to the CPU? Do you even know what a CPU or a GPU are? You realize they are different components, right?

I'll make it simple; if it a visual element, the GPU is drawing it. That means the superior anti-aliasing, the superior water effects, the superior locked screen resolution versus dyanmic downscaling on PS3/360.

More bullshit, why am I not surprised. And you totally ignored almost the entirety of my comment. Did it upset you that much? Lol

The PR speak was in reference to a specific thing, not the entire spectrum of every comment ever made. You can't possibly be this oblivious?

Care to quote me where I said the titles were on par on respective platforms? (Best of luck, as I never once said this.)

I love how you ignore the point of my criticism of your inclusion of higher resolution textures to flame. It does not matter CPU or GPU (yes I'm aware these are different components) because it's a memory problem for PS360, not a GPU one.

I'm not going to respond to you anymore. You demonstrate a fundamental ignorance to the topic, as well as respond to select things and completely ignore 90% of the comments.

Enjoy your delusion.

In other words, what you've been doing all along. I simply ignore your personal attacks and respond to the actual subject.

Anti-aliasing, screen resolution, water effects, these are not just RAM issues. The GPU still has to render them. And Shin'en Multimedia have confirmed the Wii U's GPU is several generations, (GPU generations of course) above PS3/360's.
