Are you serious? First of all Gen 2 actually added things that weren't in Gen 1 and the list would be incredibly long. Later gens have added almost nothing which is a negative in itself. Here are some things that were stripped from Gen 2 to Gen 3. THE ENTIRE ATMOSPHERE. Day/Night. Real time events like recieving phone calls. There were dozens of daily events in Gen 2 and nearly none in any game since which to me devalues the entire game by a lot. And nothing was new in Gen 3 besides beauty contests which are so lame. Later gens added terrible pokemon like ice cream cones. |
I'm going to reply to all I cared about reading.
First of all, The later gens have done SO much behind the scenes. Example: Attack/Special Attack is no longer type based, but based pon the move itself. Nature is another thing, that makes every pokemon unique.
Now for the terrible pokemon part, I can kinda agree. Yes the icecream is a stupid pokemon, but the first gens had some of them too (Muk and Grimer for example), not to mention that if you judge a game with 150 new pokemons by just a few (the worst ones), I relly don't get why you liked the first games. As I said, they had their fair share of stupid pokemons too, and after thinking it through I found enough fully evolved pokemons in gen 5 for 5 teams, in other words 30 fully evolved pokemons I would want on my teams, based upon look only. I did not count legendaries, in case you were wondering. Of cource, you can have another oppinion on that matter than mine, but when I find 30 capable pokemons, anyone should be able to pick out a team of 6. Just saying :D
Now, for the list:
1 Arceus
2 Snorlax
3 Regigigas
4 Exploud
5 Slaking
The worst type in my oppinion, had a har time finding more than three. Regigigas was put on third because of how cool I used to think he was (he really sucks), Arceus was never really a normal type for me, I always used a plate on him, and Snorlax was put there because I had one in Blue, and he was kinda cool. Just kinda though :p
