No, it was a people problem, not technical.   Reading a brain wave is fairly simplistic from a technical standpoint (EEG has been around for nearly 100 years).  Training the brain to alter internal frequencies on the fly is not so simple and much more difficult when trying to actually play a fast paced game like Tetris.

Watch the TED demonstration on this product and then imagine trying to play Tetris with it.  It takes Evan 40 seconds just to perfom a single action (disappear).

I'm not knocking the product itself or the incredible possibilities it opens up.  Only that we've tried games before and we simply are not trained for that kind of activity.

Well of course.  It's not something we are used to doing.

It takes a while to learn any new skill.  Given time with the device people may become quite good at it. 

It would be really interesting to try.  If anyone get's this, invite me over when you get it, please.  (I might bring a tasty pie.)
