I don't think SSBB will sell more the first week than Halo 3 did because the latter was much better promoted. You couldn't go anywhere without running into a Halo 3 promotion. Hell, they even made a new flavor of Mountain Dew (which was actually pretty good) to go with the release of the game. 7-Eleven made a Slurpee of the Mountain Dew flavor and even took pre-orders for the game. Banks were offering Master Chief promotions.. Nintendo has never been able to manage that sort of hype before.. but I believe they will make the better game and will outsell Halo 3 in the long term.
