I don't see the Wii-U even getting decent holiday sales at this point. Just look at PS4 game preorders. They're already higher than Wii-U's were on it's final week before launch. Either way, these next few months will be interesting. |
Pikmin is a tiny franchise dude. it doesn't have that mass market appeal that DK, Mario and Zelda have.

With all due respect, if NSMBU barely managed to push units (and btw, the VGC numbers are considerably overtracked for the game even then according to Nintendo's own numbers that also included digital to boot), DK isn't going to have any serious affect.
3D World is where it's REALLY going to take off though, yes, and MK/Smash are going to absolutely blow sales up.
