It looks enjoyable enough, but a huge step down from SMG. I won't lie I'm hugely disappointed. With nintendo finally getting a console more powerful than the 360/PS3 I expected a lot more than this. It looks bland and copy-pasta. Maybe auto-generated like the OP said. It's not like SM64/Sunshine/SMG/Banjo Kazooie where I'll see something in the distance and want to explore like a village or tower or fire-planet, instead all I see is more auto-generated landscape.
I'm not going to get angry over it anymore though, I'll just accept that Nintendo have chosen a different direction and I'll move on. A Hat in Time looks like it's the game I was hoping this would be so I will focus on that instead.
