http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=74365419&postcount=75 DC sell-through ratio: Sold through 95% of its initial shipment on PS3 in the first week - so it was pretty much sold out everywhere. It's impossible to have a better first week than that (meeting the publisher's highest expectations). And here's a comparison of Vanillaware's previous games: {1997-12-11} [SAT] Princess Crown (Atlus) - 27,600 / 27,600 *
Dragon's Crown sold more first week on PS3 than any other Vanillaware title sold lifetime (except Grand Knights History). That's not even counting the Vita version's sales. And remember that digital is a factor for Dragon's Crown whereas it wasn't for any other Vanillaware game except Muramasa (Vita) and Grand Knights History (PSP). So all in all, the FW sales should have massively exceeded any expectations anyone had for the game. Anything after that is just gravy. |
Hush now. He just want to hate on something. :-/
